JawBone™ Software provides hands-free computer access for a wide range of individuals with multiple computer access challenges by providing the necessary link between Scansoft® Naturally Speaking® Professional (voice dictation) and JAWS® for Windows (screen reader).

JawBone™ Software targets the following applications for access: Microsoft Word, WordPad, Internet Explorer, Dragon Pad, Notepad, Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora.

With the JawBone™ Interface System, you can:

Automate tasks with over 100 JawBone™ customized commands. Create, edit and review documents using voice commands with auditory feedback. Hear dialog boxes & menus read and respond using voice commands. Read, respond to & create email using voice commands & dictation. Have Web Pages read to you and navigate the internet by voice. Control your PC with voice commands. Independently train a voice file with the JawBone™ Software Echo-back Training Feature. Simultaneously hear ‘what the computer is doing’ for precise voice control & navigation. As the computer user issues commands or dictation, the computer echoes back to the user what command or dictation was recognized. Scansoft® Naturally Speaking® Professional may misrecognize a word, but will not misspell the word. This is helpful for individuals who have dyslexia. Individuals who have multiple disabilities, such as blindness or low vision and little or no use of their hands, gain access to the computer with JawBone™ Software.
